Cycling day trip from Santa Margalida to Port d'Alcudia

This relaxed cycling route takes you from the charming inland town of Santa Margalida to the sun-soaked seaside of Port d’Alcudia, covering just under 30 km. Santa Margalida is a classic Mallorcan village, known for its peaceful squares and local market—worth a quick wander before you set off!

The ride itself is mostly on quiet country roads, offering a peaceful pedal through rural Mallorca with only a small stretch on busier tarmac. You'll cruise past almond groves, fields dotted with sheep, and traditional stone windmills. There’s some gentle climbing at the start (nothing too serious: max elevation is under 90 meters), then it’s mostly downhill or flat all the way to the coast.

As you approach Port d’Alcudia, you’ll feel the sea breeze pick up and might catch glimpses of the Tramuntana mountains in the distance.
