By bicycle from Förslöv to Båstad

This scenic 13 km ride takes you from the small village of Förslöv up to the charming coastal town of Båstad. You’ll start off gently rolling out of Förslöv, a peaceful spot on the Bjäre Peninsula that’s mostly known for its potato farming and lovely countryside vibes.

The route is comfortable and very bike-friendly—about 91% paved, with the majority on quiet paths and lesser-used roads, so you can really enjoy the ride without much traffic. There’s a bit of climbing early on (the highest point is about 119 meters), but you’re rewarded with a gradual descent as you approach the stunning coast.

Båstad itself is famous for its tennis heritage (the annual Swedish Open is held here!) and its lively harbor, full of cafes and ice cream shops. You’ll roll into town with a view of the sea and possibly a gentle breeze to greet you.

All in all, it’s a great route for a relaxed day out, enjoying the best of southwest Sweden’s rural and coastal scenery!
