Cycling day trip from Jenbach to Achenkirch

Get ready for a scenic challenge! This route starts in Jenbach, a lively little town in the Tyrolean lower Inntal valley – perfect for those who love a bit of mountain charm right from the get-go. From there, you’ll pedal north into the dramatic, forested landscape of the Achensee region. The route is around 27 km with plenty of climbing (you’ll gain over 700 meters!), so you can expect a real workout paired with some stellar views.

Most of the way is on paved or asphalt roads, but a few gravel sections add a dash of adventure. You'll be riding mostly on quiet roads and tracks, so it's generally peaceful, though you’ll share some paths with local access traffic.

Your finish line is Achenkirch, nestled close to Lake Achensee – often called the “Fjord of the Alps.” If you have time, reward yourself with a lakeside break or even a dip!
