By bicycle from Worms to Frankenthal

This is a lovely and relaxed bike ride connecting the historic city of Worms to Frankenthal, mostly on quiet roads and rural tracks. Starting in Worms, one of Germany’s oldest cities (and famous for its Romanesque cathedral and Nibelungen legends), you’ll head south. Expect mostly paved or asphalt paths, with a touch of paving stones along the way—so it’s pretty smooth rolling almost the whole time.

The route covers about 19 kilometers—perfect for an easy ride, maybe with a coffee break along the way. You’ll pass through peaceful countryside and small villages, and the gentle elevation (just about 40 meters ascent/51 meters descent) means there are no tough hills to worry about.

Rolling into Frankenthal, you’re in a charming Palatinate town known for its porcelain heritage and local festivals. All in all, this is a fun cross-town cycle with plenty of scenery and history on either end. Great for a laid-back afternoon adventure!
