Cycling day trip from Witten to Herne

Set off from Witten—a lively town on the banks of the Ruhr, known for its industrial past and green valleys—and wind your way north to Herne, a former mining city brimming with charm and local history. Expect a bit of a climb at the start, but more downhill as you approach Herne.
