By bicycle from Weißwasser to Krauschwitz

This is a nice little ride between Weißwasser and Krauschwitz, covering just over 8 km – perfect for an afternoon outing! You’ll start off in Weißwasser, a small Saxon town known for its glass industry history and close proximity to beautiful forested areas. The route is nice and gentle, with only about 65 meters of climbing; you’ll barely notice the ups and downs.

Most of your ride will be on quiet roads and decent cycleways, so it’s relaxed – just watch for the occasional surface change, since about half the route’s surface type is a bit of a mystery (hopefully compacted dirt or well-trodden path!). You might run into a patch of loose gravel or sand here and there, but nothing too wild.

Krauschwitz, your destination, is a charming community nestled near the Neisse river and close to the German-Polish border, making it an interesting spot for a break or a stroll after your ride. All in all, this is an easy-going route through a mix of small-town scenery and peaceful countryside – ideal for a casual spin!
