By bicycle from Tönisvorst to Kempen

This scenic ride starts in Tönisvorst, a charming town known for its lush orchards and tranquil village atmosphere on the Lower Rhine. From here, you'll set out on a mostly flat, paved route that’s perfect for a leisurely spin—expect smooth asphalt with hints of paving stones for variety.

You’ll wind past open fields and peaceful rural paths, making the most of the extensive cycle network in the area. With hardly any hills (just a gentle 8-meter rise and fall), it’s easy riding all the way.

Before long, you’ll roll into Kempen, a beautiful medieval town where cobbled streets and historic towers welcome you. Take some time to explore its lovely old market square or grab a coffee at one of the cozy cafés before heading back.

All in all, it’s an easy 10 km ride with plenty of fresh air, rural scenery, and a warm welcome at both ends!
