Cycling day trip from Rinteln to Minden

This ride takes you from the charming Weser town of Rinteln to the historic city of Minden—a 24 km journey mainly along quiet, paved roads and smooth cycleways. Rinteln is known for its beautiful half-timbered houses and its location right on the banks of the Weser, making for a scenic start. As you leave town, you’ll roll through gentle countryside with only a few mild climbs (just over 135 meters of ascent in total), making the ride accessible but not boring.

Nearly 85% of the route is paved, mostly with smooth asphalt under your tires, so you can cruise comfortably and really enjoy the scenery. You’ll pass through fields, small villages, and wooded areas, catching glimpses of the Weser River along the way.
