Cycling day trip from Ostseebad Binz to Sassnitz

This scenic cycling route takes you from Ostseebad Binz, the picturesque seaside resort known for its charming white villas and long sandy beach, all the way north to the historic port town of Sassnitz. Covering around 22 km, you’ll cruise mostly on smooth asphalt and paved cycle paths, gently climbing through the beautiful landscapes of Rügen Island — expect a few ups and downs, but nothing too daunting.

As you leave Binz, you’ll pass by serene forests and might even catch glimpses of the famous chalk cliffs in the Jasmund National Park as you get closer to Sassnitz. The route is mostly tranquil, making it perfect for a relaxed ride.
