By bicycle from Meiderich to Moers

This ride takes you from Meiderich, a lively district in Duisburg known for its industrial history and green spaces, over to the charming town of Moers. Covering about 12.7 km, it’s a relaxed route—mostly flat, so nothing too strenuous, and perfect for a casual spin or a beginner-friendly outing.

You’ll cruise through a nice mix of scenery: roughly half the way follows dedicated cycle paths, interspersed with quiet roads and a touch of gravel and unpaved stretches. Make sure you’re comfy with a bit of off-road action! About a third of the ride is fully paved or asphalt, with the rest being a mix of surfaces, so a solid all-rounder bike is ideal.
