Cycling day trip from Lindau to Kreuzlingen

Ready for a cross-border ride along beautiful Lake Constance? This route starts in Lindau, a lovely Bavarian town famous for its charming old island quarter and picturesque harbor, and takes you all the way to Kreuzlingen in Switzerland.

You’ll cover about 77 km, mostly cruising over smooth asphalt and quiet roads. The path gently undulates with less than 400 meters of climbing—enough to keep things interesting without being tough. Expect quite a bit of dedicated cycleway, making it a relaxed trip with plenty of lake views.

Along the way, you’ll pass through peaceful lakeside villages, a few patches of gravel, and possibly catch sight of sailboats dotting the water. The route is almost entirely paved, so it’s friendly for any bike and makes for a great day out.
