Cycling day trip from Koblenz to Cochem

This scenic cycling route whisks you from the historic city of Koblenz, perched at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers, to the charming wine town of Cochem nestled along the Moselle. Covering about 64 km, the trip offers plenty of variety: quiet roads, smooth cycleways, well-maintained tracks, and even some stretches on classic paving stones.

You'll tackle almost 1,000 meters of ascent, winding through lush vineyards, picturesque villages, and forested hillsides. The highest point of the ride hits nearly 423 meters—be ready for some stunning views over the Moselle valley!

Koblenz is a treasure trove of history, with its famous Deutsches Eck and Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, while Cochem welcomes you at the end with its fairy-tale castle watching over half-timbered houses and riverside cafes.
