By bicycle from Doha to Al Rayyan

Set off from the heart of Doha and enjoy a scenic 17.5 km ride over to Al Rayyan! The route is pretty friendly for cyclists, with mostly quiet roads and a good stretch of cycleway to enjoy. You’ll roll past a mix of modern cityscapes and local neighborhoods—Doha is famous for its ever-evolving skyline and vibrant souqs, while Al Rayyan is known for its strong sporting heritage (home to several 2022 World Cup stadiums and the famous Aspire Zone).

There’s a bit of up and down along the way, but nothing too wild—the biggest climb is just under 45 meters. The road surfaces vary between smooth asphalt and other paved areas, so your ride should be comfortable for most bikes. You might pass through some busier stretches here and there, but they’re pretty short.
