By bicycle from Dülmen to Haltern am See

Starting out in Dülmen, a town known for its wild ponies and cozy town center, you’ll ride mostly on quiet roads and smooth asphalt, gliding past open fields and patches of woodland. The route is pretty gentle, with just a few mild hills and an easy overall descent, so you can simply enjoy the atmosphere without breaking much of a sweat.

About three-quarters of the way, you’ll hit some gravel and paving stones—a little change of pace, but nothing too tricky. Eventually, you’ll coast into Haltern am See, a lovely spot famous for its lakes and outdoor activities.
