By bicycle from Darmstadt to Erzhausen

This ride takes you from the lively city of Darmstadt up to the quieter town of Erzhausen—perfect for a relaxed couple of hours on the bike. Starting in Darmstadt, known for its Art Nouveau architecture and as a center for science and tech, you'll head mostly north on a super gentle route (less than 15 meters ascent!). The path is almost entirely paved, with most surfaces being smooth asphalt, ideal for all bike types.

You’ll roll past peaceful residential areas, through stretches of greenery, and some quiet access roads. Along the way, you’ll enjoy a nice mix of bike paths and calm roads, making it an easygoing journey. Erzhausen awaits at the other end—this small town has a cozy, suburban charm, and it’s a great spot to grab a coffee or explore local parks before heading back.
