By bicycle from Bottrop to Meiderich

About 16.5 kilometers later, the route brings you to Meiderich, a lively district of Duisburg. Meiderich is best known for the Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord—an impressive park fashioned from an old steelworks, which is always worth a stop if you have time.

Expect a solid mix of surfaces: mostly smooth asphalt and paving stones, with a little bit of gravel for character (but nothing too rough).
