Cycling day trip from Győr to Komárom

This leisurely ride takes you from the vibrant city of Győr to the historic border town of Komárom, covering just over 40 km along mostly smooth asphalt cycleways and calm country roads. Starting in Győr, known for its baroque architecture, riverside promenades, and lively squares, you’ll pedal north through the scenic Kisalföld (Little Hungarian Plain). The route is mostly flat, with just a hint of gentle climbing and descent—making it perfect for all fitness levels.

You’ll follow well-maintained cycle paths for the majority of the journey, with quiet roads threading through peaceful farmland and small villages.
