By bicycle from Svätý Jur to Pezinok

This ride starts in the charming little wine town of Svätý Jur, nestled on the edge of the Little Carpathians. The vibe here is historic and laid-back, perfect for a pre-ride pastry or coffee. Heading out, you’ll pedal on mostly paved, quiet country roads and some dedicated cycle paths—so it’s pretty relaxed with minimal traffic.

The route has a good bit of climbing (over 340 meters ascent!), but the views as you weave through wine country and woodland are worth it. You’ll pass vineyards, rolling hills, and likely catch a whiff of fermenting grapes if it’s harvest season.

After about 14.5 kilometers, you’ll roll into Pezinok, another delightful town famed for its local wines and lively festivals.
