By bicycle from Bratislava - Vajnory to Svätý Jur

This easygoing 8 km ride starts in Vajnory, a peaceful borough on the northeastern edge of Bratislava. Vajnory is known for its traditional wine cellars and village feel, making it a pretty charming spot to kick off your ride. You’ll mostly follow gentle, flat roads and cycleways—perfect if you don’t want to break too much of a sweat! The surface is smooth and mostly asphalt, so your tires (and your bum) will thank you.

As you pedal north, you’ll gradually leave the urban outskirts behind and get a taste of the lovely Slovak countryside. Your journey ends at the picturesque town of Svätý Jur, one of the oldest wine towns in the region. Before you finish, take in the views of the Little Carpathians, and maybe plan a post-ride wine tasting—the vineyards here date back centuries.
