By bicycle from Old Town to Malá Strana

This short cycling route takes you right through the historic heart of Prague! You’ll start off in Old Town—home to the iconic Astronomical Clock and the lively Old Town Square. From there, you’ll wind your way west towards Malá Strana, the charming “Lesser Town” nestled at the foot of Prague Castle.

It’s just under 1.7 km, so it’s a relaxed ride—perfect for soaking in the sights. You’ll mostly cruise along paved surfaces, but be ready for a good dose of cobblestones (a classic Prague experience!). The route is friendly, with lots of quiet roads and some lovely living streets full of old-world atmosphere.

When you reach Malá Strana, you’re in one of Prague’s oldest quarters, with its Baroque buildings, quaint cafés, and Charles Bridge nearby. Take your time to enjoy the scenery—this route is about savoring the city, not speeding through it!
