Cycling day trip from Władysławowo to Gdansk

This ride takes you from the seaside town of Władysławowo all the way down the coast to the historic heart of Gdańsk! Władysławowo is a popular summer spot right at the tip of the Hel Peninsula, known for its sandy beaches and laid-back vibe—definitely worth a stroll along the pier before you set off.

Your journey unfolds across about 73 kilometers of mostly paved roads, with some nice stretches on bike paths and quiet roads. Expect a mix of smooth asphalt and paving stones, and a few brief, rougher patches—but nothing your bike can’t handle. The route is pretty gentle with just a couple of small climbs (tops out around 83 meters elevation).

As you pedal south, you’ll roll through little Pomeranian villages and maybe get a whiff of the salty Baltic air. If you have time, stop off for some smoked fish along the way—it’s a local specialty! The grand finale is Gdańsk's stunning Old Town, famous for its colorful Hanseatic architecture and buzzing riverfront. Perfect finish to a day in the saddle!
