By bicycle from Świnoujście to Międzyzdroje

This scenic ride kicks off in Świnoujście, a unique seaside town spread over 44 islands and famous for its wide beaches and historic lighthouse (the tallest on the Baltic Sea). From there, you’ll pedal east toward Międzyzdroje, a popular holiday spot known for its sunny promenade and annual star-studded film festival.

The ride is just under 19 km and mostly flat, so it’s beginner-friendly—with only gentle climbs and descents as you skirt through the woods of Wolin National Park. Expect a mix of surfaces: about a third of the route is paved, but there’s also plenty of unpaved and gravel stretches, so consider a hybrid or trekking bike for maximum comfort. Most of your journey follows scenic tracks or dedicated cycleways, winding past lush forests, hidden lakes, and maybe even the odd wild bison if you’re lucky!

In just a couple of hours, you’ll roll into Międzyzdroje, ready to relax on the famous pier or grab some fresh fish straight from the Baltic coast. Don’t forget your camera—there are some epic coastal views along the way!
