By bicycle from Murcki to Katowice

Kick off your ride in Murcki, a green, laid-back district in southern Katowice, known for its beautiful forests and chill vibes. You’ll head north for just over 12 km, most of it nice and smooth with plenty of paved and asphalt stretches—but there’s a solid chunk of gravel and paving stones, so keep an eye on your tires!

The route gently rolls upward before giving you a nice descent as you approach central Katowice. Along the way, you’ll spend time on shady paths and quiet roads, with a bit of old-school track and some purpose-built cycleway sections tossed in for good measure.

At the finish, you land right in the beating heart of Katowice—a city famed for its modernist architecture, bustling cultural scene, and iconic spots like the Spodek Arena.
