Cycling day trip from Kowale to Sopot

This ride takes you from Kowale—a peaceful suburb just south of Gdańsk—up north to the lively seaside city of Sopot, famous for its wooden pier and vibrant promenade. The route covers just over 25 km, mostly on smooth paved paths and quiet roads, ideal for a relaxed cycle.

Leaving Kowale, you’ll enjoy gently rolling terrain (with around 83 meters of ascent) before taking on a long, enjoyable descent as you head toward the coast. Most of your ride uses dedicated cycleways and local paths, so the ride is manageable for most experience levels. Look out for patches with paving stones and the occasional missing surface, but otherwise, it’s smooth sailing!
