By bicycle from Peschiera del Garda to Bardolino

This scenic ride takes you from the charming town of Peschiera del Garda at the southern tip of Lake Garda up to the famous wine hub of Bardolino. You’ll enjoy just under 17km of mostly paved roads (over 80% paved/asphalt) as you wind your way along the lake’s southeast shoreline—perfect for spotting sailboats and soaking in those lake breezes.

Starting in Peschiera, a historic fortress town with impressive Venetian walls and a lively waterfront, the route keeps things pretty relaxed—expect some gentle climbs, with a total ascent just over 100 meters, but nothing too taxing. Most of your ride (about three-quarters) rolls along quiet roads and some cycleways, so it's generally peaceful and pleasant.

Arriving in Bardolino, you’ll be greeted by lakeside cafes and the tantalizing aroma of the local Bardolino wine. If you have time, park your bike and stroll the old town or dip your toes in the lake! This is a great route for a leisurely half-day adventure, blending natural beauty, history, and a sprinkle of Italian dolce vita.
