Bikepacking from Milan to San Teodoro

Starting out in Milan, Italy’s fashion capital, you’ll pedal south on a journey that’s just over 214 kilometers long. The route winds through rolling hills and quiet countryside, with plenty of climbs—expect nearly 2,800 meters of ascent—so get ready for some satisfying leg burn and spectacular vistas!

Most of the roads are nice and peaceful, with minimal busy traffic—perfect for taking in local villages and rural scenery. There’s a good mix between paved and unpaved sections, so a sturdy bike is recommended. You’ll hit a max elevation of about 837 meters, which means some lovely descents too.
