Cycling day trip from Feltre to Bassano del Grappa

This is an epic ride connecting two gems of the Veneto foothills! Starting in Feltre, a charming walled town with medieval squares and a lively local vibe, you’ll soon roll into the wide-open countryside with the Dolomites in your rearview. The first part gets your heart pumping with some punchy climbs—the total ascent is nearly 1,800 meters—but the scenery more than makes up for it.

Most of this 54 km route sticks to quiet country roads and smooth asphalt, zigzagging through rolling vineyards, forests, and sleepy hamlets. Watch for stunning mountain views, especially as you gain elevation. You’ll also get a real payoff on the way down: there’s even more descent than climbing, and you can let it rip on the gentle, winding roads as you approach Bassano del Grappa.
