Cycling day trip from Kranjska Gora to Mojstrana

This route takes you from the lively mountain resort of Kranjska Gora all the way to the scenic village of Mojstrana—and it’s not your average leisurely ride! You’ll cover a bit over 25 km with plenty of ups and downs, climbing about 780 meters and descending a similar amount along the way. The highest point of the ride reaches just above 1040 meters, so be ready for some great alpine scenery.

The path is mostly paved (around 70%), mixing in some good stretches of gravel—perfect if you’re riding a hybrid or gravel bike. You’ll roll along dedicated cycleways, some quieter roads, and a few tracks, with only short sections on busier roads.

Kranjska Gora is famous for winter sports and is a starting point for exploring the Julian Alps. Mojstrana, at the finish, is the gateway to the Triglav National Park and offers cool views of the surrounding peaks.
