This ride takes you from the heart of Brooklyn up into Lower Manhattan, covering just under 12 km and clocking in at a little over three hours at a relaxed pace. You’ll start out surrounded by Brooklyn’s classic brownstones and bustling neighborhoods, making your way north toward the iconic skyline of Manhattan.
Most of the route rolls along quiet roads and designated cycleways, so you’ll get a mostly smooth and relaxed ride (the majority is paved or asphalt, with a bit of authentic New York paving stones thrown in). There’s a gentle climb or two, with about 138 meters of ascent overall—nothing too taxing, just enough to get your blood pumping.
As you cross over to Manhattan, take in views of the East River and the skyscrapers ahead. Your journey finishes near some of NYC’s most famous spots, like City Hall and the Brooklyn Bridge entrance.
Brooklyn brings the charm, Manhattan brings the energy—this route serves up a bit of both!
