By bicycle from Bol’shaya Setun’ to Fili

This cycling route takes you from Bol’shaya Setun’—a peaceful, mostly residential corner of Moscow tucked near the green banks of the Setun River—to Fili, a lively area famous for its namesake park and Mihail Lomonosov’s historic country house. The ride is about 17 km, with just over 120 meters of gentle ascent, so it’s manageable for most riders.

You’ll enjoy mostly smooth sailing on paved and asphalt surfaces (over 80% of the way), weaving between quiet access roads and little-trafficked residential streets. There’s a sprinkle of paving stones and, thankfully, barely any unpaved stretches, making it comfortable regardless of your bike setup.
