By bicycle from West End of London to City of London

Here’s a breezy ride straight through London’s heart! Start off in the vibrant West End—home to theatres, shopping, and some of the city’s best people-watching—before rolling east toward the historic City of London. Your route is about 7 km in length, and you’ll mostly cruise along dedicated cycleways and quiet roads, giving you plenty of time to soak in the sights (and avoid heavy traffic!).

You'll gently ascend and descend, so nothing too strenuous, with the landscape peaking around 42 metres—barely a blip you’ll notice between window shopping and selfie ops. Nearly all your tires will kiss smooth asphalt, though you’ll rattle over some paving stones just for that "classic London" feel.

You’ll finish up in the City of London, where medieval lanes meet ultra-modern skyscrapers. It’s a place packed with history—the Romans founded it, and today it's a financial powerhouse. Treat yourself to a pastry or a pint in one of the Square Mile’s old pubs before heading home!
