Cycling day trip from Strba to Poprad

Ready for a scenic ride? This route takes you from Štrba, a charming village nestled at the foot of the High Tatras, to the vibrant town of Poprad—the gateway to Slovakia’s most famous mountains. The route covers just under 21 km, mostly on a mix of paved cycling paths and quiet roads, so it’s nice and smooth for nearly any bike.

You’ll start at around 860 meters in elevation and enjoy a net descent, which means you can relax and roll through the picturesque landscapes as you drop more than 350 meters into Poprad.
