By bicycle from Lesna to Turin

This is a super pleasant ride from Lesna, a leafy suburb just southwest of the main city, all the way into the heart of Turin. You’ll roll along for just under 10 km—so it’s an easy one, and nearly all of it is on smooth, paved surfaces.

The route mostly takes you on safe, dedicated cycleways (about 80% of the trip!), making it perfect for both newbies and regular riders. There’s just a light mix of quiet roads and a little section with paving stones to keep it interesting. You’ll coast gently downhill, so save your energy for exploring Turin itself.

When you arrive, you’ll find yourself in Italy’s first capital, famed for its grand boulevards, historical piazzas, and awesome food scene (hello, chocolate and espresso!). Whether you’re commuting, meeting friends, or heading into the city for a gelato, this is a ride you’ll want to repeat.
