Cycling day trip from Vysehrad to Řevnice

This ride starts at Prague’s historic Vyšehrad, perched above the Vltava River with stunning views and legendary tales—be sure to walk your bike past the ancient walls before you set off! You’ll roll southwest out of the city, quickly leaving behind the urban buzz for the peaceful, green outskirts. Most of your journey is along smooth, paved cycleways and quiet roads, so it’s a super pleasant ride for all levels.

You’ll pass through little villages and stretches of forested countryside, catching glimpses of the Berounka River as you approach the final stretch toward Řevnice. It’s mostly gentle uphill and downhill, so nothing too tough—and plenty of time to soak in the scenery. After about 33 kilometers, you’ll glide into Řevnice, a small town nestled between rolling hills and famed for its cultural festivals and easy train connections back to Prague if you’re feeling done.
