About this route

Wonderful cycling route through the Strandzha mountains. It passes through the beautiful village of Kosti, as well as the first nature reserve declared in Bulgaria, Silkosia, established in 1933. The route changes from asphalt to dirt road, running alongside the Veleka river through quite pristine areas. The track must be followed very precisely after Kosti village, as there is a high risk of getting lost.
