Anjou Vélo Vintage, parcours de 31 km: la Découverte CLONED FROM ROUTE 863181

Retro bikes meet in Anjou!\n\nRediscovering the codes of another era, stepping into the shoes of the legends of the road (Hinault, Merckx, Coppi...) and discovering the riches of Anjou with friends are the highlights of this new historical bike ride organized on Sunday, June 19, 2011, in Saumur by the General Council of Maine-et-Loire.\n\nReserved for cyclists equipped with "fixies" and bikes from the early 20th century to 1990, this event is also aimed at all fans of vintage fashion and retro atmospheres. Thus, the starting village will host a flea market of antique bicycles, bicycle manufacturers, classic cars, and numerous animations around the bicycle.\n\nStarting from Saumur, the Anjou Vélo Vintage will appeal to all audiences since 3 routes of 29, 70, and 104 km will allow participants to discover the most beautiful landscapes of Anjou: Loire, castles, and vineyards. At lunchtime, all participants will be able to gather in a friendly atmosphere to taste local specialties at the four refreshment points.\n\nFor the first time this year, the General Council proposes a great bike day with: Anjou Vélo Vintage and the Bicycle Festival in Anjou, the largest gathering of bicycles in Europe on 170 km of route along the Loire, guaranteed without cars!
