Le Puy - Decazeville: along the Way of St. James (GR 65). Scenically one of the most charming sections of the route with many architectural gems (Romanesque churches, parts of the route are UNESCO World Heritage sites) along the way. The cathedral of Le Puy is absolutely worth seeing, as is the entire town of Conques, which is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The church of Nasbinales also has something special. There are many small charming villages along the route. At Aubrac you have a stunning view over the lowlands to the west near Bordeaux. The descent is 20 km long and magnificent! We mostly follow the smallest roads: partly steep, but beautiful.

After Conques, you can also choose the beautiful and flatter variant via Grand Vabre (D901), St-Parthem, and Flagnac along the Lot River to Livinac-le-Haut.
