Johanngeorgenstadt Karlovy Vary Tour1

From the Loipenhaus via Dreckpfütze and Mittelflügel to the Oberwildenthal border crossing, the route leads to Jeleni CZ (Hirschenstand). On the signposted road (No. 2000), the path runs through the valley of the Rolava (Rolau) to Nove Hamry (Neuhammer). From Nove Hamry, the railway to Nejdek (Neudeck) also accompanies us.

Nejdek, known for many attractions, is left via road (No. 2009) towards Nova (Neurohlau). Just before Nova Role, there is an option to shortcut (signposts on the roadside) or reach Nova Rola via Bozicany (Poschetzau). Nova Role is a town with a long history, including a 13th-century church.

Passing it, we leave Nova Role on a classic cycle path (No. 2009). With a glance back at the southern side of the Ore Mountains, we ride towards Stara Role (Aolt-Rohlau). Stara Role lies at the gates of Karlovy Vary and is worth a stop.

Turning left from the main road, we cycle past Stara Role station on the cycle path (No. 2009) for about 2 km to the destination in Karlovy Vary.
