The EuroVélo 4 continues its gradual ascent along a converted, former rail track in the direction of Vire. A diversion and stop, in this case Le Neufbourg, allows time for a visit to L'église Saint-Hilaire and a coffee in the local Tabac / PMU. A stop eaerlier in Mortain-Bocage would offer more in the way of commerce and also allow a visit to La Grande and / or La Petite Cascade: two scenic waterfalls. Choosing to do so would involve walks of around 1km over steep terrain.
