Kvetnica – 'Strieborná' adit ⚒️🚴 Above Poprad, in the Kvetnica area, lies a mining history that goes back to the Middle Ages. The local mines were especially known for silver and copper extraction. Today you can still find the adit 'Strieborná' here, a reminder of the region's rich mining tradition.

The route to the adit goes through the woods above Kvetnica – it's an ideal route for cyclists who want to combine sport with exploring history. The surroundings are quiet and full of nature, and for a moment you can feel what it must have been like when miners walked to the mountains every day for hard work.

The adit is now accessible from the outside, and remnants of old mining paths have been preserved nearby. The ride up here is short, but in terms of atmosphere it ranks among the most memorable on Spiš.
