Nidda-Quelle

From Dauernheim, follow the R4/Niddaradweg to Schotten. There on Vogelsbergstr. and then on the 5 Flüsse-Weg until the intersection at Vogelpark, here turn left and not right onto the Niddaroute.

Following the G1 path passing Götzen and above Rudingshain up to the Schottenring L3139 here turn right. Stay on L3139, passing the shelter Scharlot- tenhöhe, then at the parking lot "Rote Erde" after about 500 m turn left.

On the G2 up to "Sieben Ahorn" 753m, here turn right downhill on G3 to the "Nidda-Quelle". From here continue to the "Geiselstein" passing the Taufsteinhütte to the "Hoherodskopf", here take the grassy path next to the toboggan run downhill to Breungeshain.

Over Michelbach and Schotten again past the dam, a section on the B445 to Ober-Schmitten then again on the R4 to Dauernheim.
