From low traffic side streets to the Arizona Canal in Phoenix to north Scottsdale along the Indian Bend Wash trail.
Around January every year for about a month, canals are drained for maintenance. Sediment is removed and concrete walls are repaired. Camelback Mountain is in the distance.
The endpoint of this loop was the Mustang Library in Scottsdale with several bird sculptures reading books outside the library.
