This route starts in the town of Pemberton, near the village of Marysville, and makes its way to the town of New Lynn. The route begins with a mostly gentle climb, with a few small sections of steeper incline. After roughly a hundred metres, the route starts a descent that takes cyclists mostly downhill for around ten kilometres. There is a small section of uphill after roughly half way through the route, before the route starts a long, gradual descent back to the start. This route ends with a little climb, bringing cyclists back to Pemberton.
