Waggum-Tankumsee-Waggum

Another alternative route to Tankumsee with the mountain or trekking bike

The entire route is approximately 60 km long and about 230 m of elevation is gained.

Through field and forest paths and partly trails from Waggum towards Wolfsburg to Tankumsee.

On the way back, main and secondary roads are completely avoided and only in Wettmerhagen is there a crossing through the village. All types of road surfaces are represented along the route. At kilometer 14.5, there is a nice trail, partly a path, otherwise the entire tour is easily rideable.

The return journey passes through the villages of Allerbüttel, Edesbüttel, Wedesbüttel, and Grassel, exclusively using field paths. A slightly more challenging section for normal bikes is a short footpath across a field at kilometer 55.
