On the first Sunday in July, the Sieg Valley was once again closed to all motor traffic for about 120 kilometers. We started in Siegen and our turnaround point was in Wissen. Behind Wissen, the route switched from the federal road to a narrow dirt path with gravel as the surface for about 1 km. Additionally, we would have had to cross several 'temporary bridges', which is not really advisable with a handbike or racing bike.
