About This Route

Von Eichstätt aus geht es nach Pfünz entlang der Römerspuren, die noch vielerorts zu sehen sind. Auch die erdgeschichtlichen Hintergründe der Route werden anhand von Tafeln beschrieben. Nach Pfünz durchfährt man auch ruhigen Straßen durch Wälder nach Hitzhofen/Oberzell, wo man bei klarem Wetter eine schöne Aussicht nach Ingolstadt hat. Über Tauberfeld und Adelschlag führt der Weg nach Ochsenfeld und durch das Urdonautal nach Dollnstein. Dem Altmühltal-Radweg folgend geht es zurück nach Eichstätt.
