Jesi, Belvedere Ostrense, Moje

36 km Distance
410m Ascent
410m Descent

(1 rating)

I did this route on the afternoon of St Stephens/Boxing Day on the hunt for a live Nativity scene (PRESEPI VIVENTI). People were queuing until after 4pm outside a church at Via Monte Della Serra, before Belvedere Ostrense, but I decided to catch the late-afternoon light and continue to the abbey in Moje (Abazzia Santa Maria), where a larger crowd was waiting to go into a charming reproduction of a biblical street.

One could go further round to the West before Moje, get on the train between Moje and Jesi, or even combine this with a ride to Cingoli.
