Girona: Els Àngels & Baix Empordà medieval villages

52 km Distance
620 m Ascent
620 m Descent

(2 ratings)

Starting at the stone bridge, this is a ride up Girona's most famous climb, Els Àngels, followed by some rolling terrain through a number of the Baix Empordà's beautiful medieval villages (Madremanya, La Pera, Púbol, Flaçà, Bordils). Opportunities for food and drink stops at the top of the climb, with views out to the sea, and across to the Pyrenees and Garrotxa mountains, as well as in the villages. Púbol also hosts the Gala & Salvador Dalí Castle Museum. The gpx file ends in Plaça Independencia, where there are series of bars, restaurants, and often special events.
