About This Route

Gestartet wird die Tour am Alten Elbtunnel in Hamburg. Die Benutzung ist für Fußgänger und Radfahrer erlaub und kostenlos. Von dort aus geht es durch den Hafen. Sobald man Hamburg hinter sich gelassen hat wird es mit dem Verkehr ruhiger. Je weiter man Richtung Süden kommt, wird es sehr einsam auf den "langen Straßen". Genügend Verpflegung sollte man schon dabei haben, Tanken und Supermärkte gibt es hier keine mehr. Zur Not gibt es einige Höfe wo man vielleicht seine Flaschen auffüllen kann.

Anmerkung: Bin mit dem Zug von Minden nach Hamburg gefahren. In Hannover war Umstieg in den IC in Richtung Hamburg. Vom Hauptbahnhof sind es gute 3,5km bis zum Alten Elbtunnel.
