Schüttorf->Gildehaus-Dinkel-Route CLONED FROM ROUTE 212864

A loop we did at Pentecost. Starting from Schüttorf, you head towards Bad Bentheim (through the local spa park) in the direction of Gildehaus via the so-called 'Düstere Stiege'. In Gildehaus, you join the Gildehaus-Dinkel-Route.

You ride through Lutterzand, a beautiful nature reserve with very winding, gravel bike paths. On a sunny day, you can enjoy a swim in the Dinkel here (especially if you are cycling with children, this stop is a must).

Afterwards, the route continues through De Lutte and on to Losser. Between these towns, there is also a remarkable arboretum worth a visit.

Once you leave Losser behind, you are soon back in Germany and pass by Gute Aarnink, where a good kitchen invites you for a well-deserved break.

This is really needed, as there are some steep sections to conquer towards Gildehaus. After a short loop through the Bentheim spa park, you arrive back at the starting point in no time.
